This MAGMOD Wedding and Event Flash Accessory Starter Kit put together by B&H includes a wide variety of accessories for controlling the light of up to two flashes. The system revolves around the MagGrip adapter, which goes on the head of the flash and allows you to mount the other accessories thanks to its two magnets. Four different accessories are provided for shaping light: the MagSphere for diffusion, MagBounce for bouncing, and the MagSnoot and two MagGrid sets for narrowing the beam angle. Also included is a fully featured gel system consisting of two holders, two sets of filters, and a gel storage wallet.
MagMod MagSphere
Transform your on-camera flash into an omni-directional light source with the MagSphere, designed for use with the MagMod flash modifier system. The soft, diffused light is flattering and it has an integrated gel slot for adjusting the color of your flash. The two neodymium rare-earth magnets allow it to quickly attach to a separately available MagGrip, as well as other modifiers, such as a MagGrid, for more control over your light. Additionally, it is made from molded silicone rubber for a sleek, simple design with good durability and it comes with a microfiber carrying pouch.
MagMod MagBounce
Increase the apparent size of your flash by about 300% with the MagBounce, part of the MagMod flash modifier system and intended for use with the MagMod MagGrip. The soft, diffused light produced by this attachment functions similarly to a softbox and cast the beam over a large area. Also, the MagBounce can be oriented in one of four different positions for use in both portrait and landscape shootings thanks to the attachment with four neodymium rare-earth magnets. With this system, the MagBounce can be used in combination with other accessories, such as the MagGel. It is made from molded silicone rubber for a sleek, simple design with good durability and comes with a microfiber carrying pouch.
MagMod MagSnoot
Restrict the area your speedlight illuminates with the MagSnoot, designed for use with the MagMod flash modifier system. It narrows the flash beam and with a collapsible design allows users to produce four different beam patterns. This accessory also has an integrated gel slot that can hold up to 2 gels for additional light modification. It attaches to the separately available MagGrip and its accessories via two neodymium rare-earth magnets. MagMod MagGrid
Control light spill and narrow your flash’s beam angle to 40° with the MagGrid, designed for the MagMod flash modifier system. This grid efficiently focuses the light and attaches to the MagGrip via two neodymium rare-earth magnets. Also, it is stackable with other accessories and even other MagGrids, allowing users to further narrow their beam angle. It is made from molded silicone rubber for a sleek, simple design with good durability.
MagMod MagGel Holder
Mount and swap out gels on your flash quickly and easily with this MagGel Holder for the MagMod modifier system. The silicone rubber slot holds up to 3 MagMod gels and snaps on to the MagMod system via two neodymium rare-earth magnets. Also, it is stackable with additional holders and other MagMod accessories.
MagMod MagGrip
Made from an elastic silicone rubber, the MagGrip from MagMod stretches over the head of most on-camera flash units and provides two neodymium rare-earth magnets for quickly mounting a variety of accessories from the MagMod flash modifier system. The rubber offers a secure, tight grip on the flash head and is durable. Also, the flash head should be about 2.5″ wide for the modifiers to be able to properly attach to the flash head.
