Yes, the Kyocera ECOSYS M2040dn All-in-One Printer supports both printing and scanning of legal-size (8.5" x 14") paper.
🖨️ Printing on Legal-Size Paper
Supported Paper Sizes: The printer accommodates paper sizes ranging from 5.5" x 8.5" (Statement) up to 8.5" x 14" (Legal) in its standard 250-sheet tray and 100-sheet multipurpose tray.
Duplex Printing: Automatic duplex (double-sided) printing is supported for paper sizes from 5.5" x 8.5" up to 8.5" x 14".
📄 Scanning Legal-Size Documents
Document Processor: The standard 50-sheet Dual Scan Document Processor can handle originals up to 8.5" x 14" (Legal) in size.
Flatbed Scanner: The flatbed scanner is designed for documents up to A4 size (8.5" x 11"). For legal-size documents, the document processor should be used.
⚙️ Adjusting Settings for Legal-Size Paper
To ensure proper handling of legal-size paper:
Paper Tray Adjustment: Adjust the paper guides in the tray to fit 8.5" x 14" paper.
Printer Settings: On the printer's control panel, navigate to the paper settings and select "Legal" as the paper size for the corresponding tray.
Driver Settings: On your computer, access the printer properties and set the default paper size to "Legal" under the printing preferences.
